انٹر بینک مارکیٹ میں ڈالر تاریخ کی بلند ترین سطح پر پہنچ گیا۔
The value of Pakistan rupee against US dollar touched another all-time low for the second consecutive day, reaching approximately Rs148 in the interbank market.
The dollarwas valued at Rs141.5 yesterday, but climbed roughly Rs6.50 to hit a historical peak today; there are rumors in the forex market that the rupee may slide further in coming days.
The fall in the rupee’s value comes a day after Prime Minister Imran Khan had set up a committee to control devaluation of the local currency and capital flight from Pakistan.
In open market, the dollar is not easily availab and exchange companies are not ready to provide large amount of dollars.
The dollar had gained Rs2.25 against the rupee in the open market yesterday amid strong speculation that the rupee would depreciate significantly after the signing of a bailout agreement with the International Monetary Fund.
Most of the currency dealers and experts have already expressed their disappointment over the undisclosed conditions agreed between the IMF authorities and the government.
The rate in the interbank is considered the official exchange rate but the open market rate fluctuations and shortage of dollars sometimes compel the State Bank to change the exchange rate. The SBP usually uses banking rates for devaluation of the rupee.

تفصیلات کے مطابق کرنسی مارکیٹ میں ڈالر کی قیمت میں تیزی سے اتار چڑھاؤ کا سلسلہ جاری ہے ، انٹربینک مارکیٹ میں ڈالر ایک دن میں 6روپے61پیسے مہنگا ہوا،جس کے باعث آج انٹر بینک میں ڈالرکو 148 روپے کی ریکارڈ سطح پر دیکھا گیا لیکن کچھ دیر بعد ہی 146 پر آگیا۔
فاریکس ڈیلرز کا کہنا ہے انٹربینک میں ڈالر اب 146 روپے پر ٹریڈ ہورہا ہے، ڈالر4 روپے 61 پیسے مہنگا ہوا ہے۔
گذشتہ روز اوپن مارکیٹ میں ڈالر 2.25 روپے مہنگاہوا تھا ، جس کے بعد ڈالر ملکی تاریخ کی بلند سطح 146 روپے25 پیسے پر پہنچ گئی تھی لیکن کاروبار کے اختتام پر ڈالر دوبارہ144روپے پر آگیا تھا ، جب کہ انٹر بینک میں ڈالر کی قیمت 141.93 پیسے پر رہی تھی۔
ایکسچینج کرنسی ایسوسی ایشن کا کہنا تھا کہ پاکستان کا آئی ایم ایف کے پاس جانا ڈالر کی قیمت میں اضافے کی بڑی وجہ ہے۔
