Suzuki launches new model of Swift

Keeping in view of 1300cc car, Rs. 10,00,000/= is quit reasonable but Suzuki brand always refer as economic price range car, those who can buy Rs. 10,00,000/= worth of car they might be consider to add up some more money and prefer to buy Honda or Toyota. Hmmmmmmmm, The price is really high. I think Suzuki company launch this car to raise market of their lower cost cars like Mehran and Alto. This is true that the car is expensive but this is the case with all the cars now as their prices have gone very high. Even Mehran’s price is 550,000 rps. New cultus vxl costs more than 9 lac. So it is foolish to expect swift,which is much better than these cars, to be less costly. Moreover, vitz are reconditioned cars. They are 3 or 4 years old cars. And vitz is only 1000 cc. Moreover, the shape of swift is far better than that of vitz. And if u say that it is better to buy used honda or corolla than to buy swift as it costs the same, I will say it is better to go for a zero meter car. there is no match of a zero meter car and 4-5 years used car. Surely if u can buy a new civic or corolla then that is a preferable choice but it cost u a lot more. Yes if u compare it with city, the latter is a preferable choice but it will cost u 3-4 lacs more. If u look at the features of swift u will not say it’s price is totally unreasonable considering the current market trends. It is 1300 cc and a compact, spacious and beautiful car. It has power steering, power windows, central lock system, keyless entry, electrically adjustable backview mirrors, day and night backview mirror, abs brake, ebd brakes, good suspension, movable ashtry, cup holders, adustable seatbelts, 2 way adjustable steering and fog lights. What else do u need more. Finally unlike other suzuki cars it looks to be much stronger and durable. It is very comfortable and enjoyable to drive it. Finally i will say that being smaller in body thatn city, gli or xli but equal in cc, swift can beat them at road. So in this price range swift is the best choice.

Oh sorry! i forgot to mention that swift has a good music system with both cd player and cassete player. it has 4 speakers 2 on front doors and 2 on back doors. there are already alloy rims on yhe tyres. it provides time interval option in windshield wipers. what more do u need at in a miny car.

Well first of all i would like to Thanks Uncle Zardari for implementing high taxes on car companies by which Suzuki is effected the most. I used to buy suzuki mehrans at 150,000/- now Mehran Vxr Costs 565,000/ with out registration and transportation charges, the car sales would drop even more with these new rates implemented this car is not worth 1.01 Million PKR nor are the other cars in Pakistan worth the money they are selling for its because people prefer private transport rather then public transport if we start avoiding buying expancive cars such as this and its a fact its not worth 1.01 million pkr then we can hope the prices to fall, other wise good luck. i was wondering one more thing what good is a 1.01mill pkr worth car if there is no Natural Gas/CNG and no petrol to fule it. ? and with the current growth of private transport we wont have any roads to drive on as there would be trafic jams all over the place. people would prefere to move on foot rather then wheels.

The emerging version of light-duty Suzuki Swift has got no design considerations at all in terms of automotive mechanics. It’s not wise to hatch an egg with a hammer – keeping in view this analogy, the car is not that much spacious for that much robust engine accordigly. Further to it, the price of the car is exorbitant (unreasonably high). Merely, for an additional unnecessory 300CC, it is absolutely absurd and superfluous. I guess, the company had a huge stock of 1300CC leftover from some failed design which it consumed unwisely. It is a futile exercise which will impart nothing tangible amid fulfilling the intended objective. In a nutshell, the car doesn’t carry any economic rational or comfort! It’s not a rationalized approach.

I would like to say that first see then believe.
First you should go to have a dirve see the suspension, engine, roadgrip, body strength.
i have got Cultus and Swift both. but there is HELL of difference between these. Swift is the best compact car in compact car catagory.
Cultus, Cuore, Mehran, Cheverolett seems Khoteeeeeeee infront of SWIFT.. I Love it Really and i m really proud to OWN it.
ALL of you who are not in favour will RUSH to buy and will be looking for to buy Japan Assembelled.
This price of SWIFT will become low when it will be started to be assembeled in Pakistan. and even a paindoo knows that there is heel of difference in same cars but differently assemebelled.

I think most of you guys dont have the market knowledge, price is ok for this Zero Meter Car, although I am not a fan of suzuki but which brand new piece of wheel is available at this cost ?? 1300cc compact design is best choice at this price. And comparing a Zero meter with a used one is crap. Those who prefer to drive a zero meter will never go for vitz or 2nd hand civic, runing around for parts and visting so called mechanics. At this 1 milion price you can get a civic max 2005 which is again 5 yrs old. Yea for those who can afford a new corola, city a civic can say its a shit but thrs no comparison with a used car.

They say that the price of 1 million is too high. Well, what about the price of Reborn or Altis ??? Isn’t 1.8 million a high price ???
But these cars have got everything in them, 1800cc, ABS, airbags and what not
No one says that these cars are highly priced
No one even says that Cultus is high priced for 0.9 million. It doesn’t have ABS, 1300cc, 15” alloys and there’s a hell of a difference in all the other features when Cultus and Swift are compared
And those who say that “add three more lacs and buy a honda city in 1.3 million”, why don’t they add one two more lacs and buy Toyota Gli in 1.5 million, then add 3 more lac and buy a new born and so on ???
Suzuki might be looked down upon in this part of the world but what’s wrong if they are charging for what they are providing ???
And if you compare Honda City and Suzuki Swift in all the specs, you’ll come to know that except for length of the car, Honda City exceeds in nothing
And I agree with a few people above that there’s no comparison of a new and a used car so I won’t say anything on comparing Swift with Vitz or VTI 2005 or XLI 2007

Saw the new model of Swift i was really impressed magar jab price dekhe tu “dil kay arman ansoon mae beh gae.” Thek hae gari mae acha tape hae, alloy rims hain but still it cannot compete with Honda or Corolla. Fine I agee kay Vitz reconditioned hae magar atleast it has a brand name that proves its quality. But as far as Suzuki Dabba is concerned, O Im SORRY, as far as Suzuki Swift is concerned its price is far too high. It looks more like a Dinky Car. according to me owner of pak suzuki must send his director finance,diretcor sales and marketing and director operations to a psychitrist so that they guide properly to the owner regarding costing of suzuki brands in pakistan according to socio economics condititions of pakistan my suggestive price for swift is 585000 for alto vxr 525000 for meharan vxr 425000 and for mehran vx 375000 and i am sure by doing this suzuki sales will be multoply by 5 times

My dear brothers most of u guys clock is stuck on the price which i can understand. Most of u comparing with Honda n Toyota which is absurd thats a totally different class. We can compare this with Vitz and cultus only or some other used imported non branded cars. keep in mind this is 1300 c.c.On the top the body is lighter than cultus and Vitz which means better fuel consumption and more power.Vitz is more luxary but after all spending 1 millon on a used car which make no sence.You dont know the history can eaisly get ripped off.Now compare it with top of the line cultus i.e VXL EFI (CNG) Rs 924,000.First its 1000c.c way less power second awaful material used as compare to swift, used awaful outside paint ,suspension is lower class , no ABS breaks, No alloy wheels , reduced tire size,no preinstalled security system , the whole car is built with cheaper material than swift,cultus is only for pak while swift is world wide etc etc In simple words no comparision Swift is japan assambled whole diff meaning .
The drive is amazing very very powerful can beat vitz and cultus no prblm. Now lets talk fuel consumption its 18 with in the city with AC per liter i dnt know abt highway probably reasonably more.There is no need of CNG. Its giving fuel consumption of Mehran.(amazing) The road grip is phenomenal. I m a six feet tall and big boy. I dont have any leg room problem and the rear seaters r comfortable as well. driving with Ac makes no diff on engine which is really grt.Forget every thing its a BRAND NEW CAR JAPAN ASSEMBLED what else u need. 100 times better than cultus. The only thing makes me difference if i can get a brand new Vitz at the same price. Its bigger from cultus in size and equal to vitz.

Suzuki just wants to follow Toyoto & Honda on price range so they could pretend their vehicles same as Toyota & Honda But Suzuki must think what are they giving to the buyer for 1.0m, just a small car without trunk and not sufficient foot space.
Suzuki must realize their actual position what they are recognized by the masses and demand very realistic price of such car, not exceeding Rs.600,000/-.

the problem is with the taste of ppl talkin shit bout swift…i personally own this car…i m 17 and i love drivin fast and this car is wat i ve always wanted…i got a pre-installed jvc sound system which is quite impressive the handling of this car is just amazing it does 0-100 in less than 8 seconds, theres nothing more u can expect from a 1million car and u cant compare that toyota shit vitz with this thing…swift is 1300cc, before buyin it i took a test drive of both honda city10 manual and vits10. what do u think made me opt swift….guyz seriously this car rules….go for it if ur still confused between toyota shitz/honda shity/suzuki SWIFT..
