UAE Embassy gears Iftari programs in the country

UAE Embassy hots iftaris for poor

Islamabad: United Arab Emirates Embassy in Pakistan geared Iftari programs on Tuesday with the collaboration of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Charity Foundation and UAE Red Crescent at Anjuman Faiz Ul Islam and Community Centre Rawalpindi. Both the organizations are leading charitable educational and social welfare organization of Pakistan. Both are well known for their remarkable services to the orphans, poor and neglected classes of the Pakistani society.

It was a large gathering and more than 600 attended it. HE Ali Saif Awani Ambassador of the UAE in Pakistan along with other high officials from the Federal Ministry of Social Welfare and Special Education graced the occasion. All the arrangements were par excellent. Food stuff was delicious and refreshing.

These Iftari programs will be organized in different cities of Pakistan throughout the holy month of Ramadan at orphanages, elderly care homes, disabled people centers and the last but not the least, women and children protection organizations.

These Iftaris well be organized for the underprivileged section of the society and struggling people have been carried out under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of UAE for many years in various parts of the country. It reflects the true spirits of humanity, generosity and compassion on the part of UAE political leadership he further added.

Mian Muhammad Siddique Akbar, the Chairman of Anjuman Faiz Ul Islam praised the extended welfare projects of all types especially the Iftaris for the poor and struggling people in Pakistan and Muslim countries around the globe. He thanked the UAE organizations and the embassy gracious gestures, its charitable organizations and the last not the least virtuous people for this noble cause which may bring some levels of comfort and happiness in the lives of marginalized communities. He especially prayed for the better health and peace of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of UAE and visionary leadership. He also prayed and extended good wishes for greater socio-economic prosperity of the UAE and its brotherly people.
