Register your mobile at mobile operator franchises

 PTA Press Release dated 30 April 2019

  In order to facilitate consumers wanting to register their mobile devices’ IMEI, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) through Cellular Mobile Operators (CMOs) has made mobile registration service available at CMOs’ franchises nationwide.

Lists of all franchises & customer service centers are as under;

  2. where can i take my phone now it was working in august trip to Pakistan i landed yesterday its not working now. Can you advise any location near Model Town.

    1. Please go to the nearest mobile franchise and geet your device registered after paying tax. If you are in model town Lahore, you can find jazz/warid franchise near C block roundabout for other mobile franchises you will have to go to faisal town near LDA flats.

Hi Sir, one of my friend told me regarding mobile registration procedure, he said that its free of cost for those who peoples living in out of countries. he said that once you come to come Pakistan just passport copy or valid ticket shows to PTA staff they will register your device free of cost, please let me know Is this true news or false. I’m waiting your correct information.

    1. No free registration any more.You can register within two months from the date of arrival.If you want to take your phone back and your stay in Pakistan is less than two months then no need to register.

  4. Dear admin I bought my mobile in pakistan , I got a call for registration …. Do I need it or not …secondly they said custom duty to be paid on my cell … how can I do this all ,

  5. ONE OF MY FRIEND WENT TO PAK AND HE RECEIVED A MESSAGE OF TAX BUT HE WANT TO PAK ONLY FOR FEW DAYS HIS MOBILE WAS NOT WORKING . SO IF I HAVE A PLAN TO COME BACK SO HOW CAN I REGISTER FOR TEMPORARY PERIOD SO I CAN ACCESS ?

      If you want to leave your mobile phone back home then you have to get it registered from mobile phone franchise by paying tax but if you plan to take it back within 60 days then you do not need to register it.
