Shamaeel-Sitara launches new lawn collection in Pakistan, India, UAE & Bangladesh

KARACHI: Shamaeel-Sitara Premium Lawn recently presented a new collection for 2012 at a three-day exhibition, held at a local lawn.
One of the pioneers of designer lawn in Pakistan having first designed for a textile house in 1996 and continuing ever since, the Shamaeel-Sitara Premium Lawn collection for 2012 comes with a special porter design kit that includes silk panels, embroideries, embellishments and accents.
Available in an extensive range of 17 designs in two colour variations, the Shamaeel-Sitara Premium Lawn prints are based in vegetable dyed colour palettes, fresh bright colours such as melon and leaf green with the revival of yellow and orange. 
Affordable and price sensitive lawn for the spring summer season, lawn includes bold strong palettes and antiquate embroideries that represent the styling the couture. The collection comes with a variety of chiffon and cotton scarf.
Fashion Designer Shamaeel said, “Lawn can be both bold and beautiful. “As a cotton producing country, I would like to see the women of Pakistan wear Lawn day and night. It is the best evening look for summer. Looking her best is the right of every women and this collection lends itself to couture at affordable prices. This is not just a nine to five lawn brand for me, but it’s the evening star of lawns.”
The first day of the exhibition was attended by a diversity of personalities including actress and face of Sitara-Premium Lawn 2012 Humaima Malick, fashion designers Maheen Khan and Deepak Perwani, fashion model Nadia Hussain, stylist Rukaiya Adamjee, fashion retailers Asad Tareen and Zahir Rahimtoola, and members of the esteemed press.
It is pertinent to mention here that Shamaeel-Sitara Premium Lawn 2012 has launched simultaneously in Pakistan, India, UAE and Bangladesh.
