KARACHI: The rupee lost its value against the dollar in the inter-bank, dealers said on Monday. The US currency commenced the day’s trading at Rs 81.43 for buying and after gaining strength was changing hands at Rs 81.56 for buying and Rs 81.61 for selling. The rupee incurred a loss of 13 paisas during the day’s trading. The 15-nation currency continued its negative movement against the rupee and lost Rs 1.08 throughout the day’s trading. KARACHI: Pakistani markets were moribund on Wednesday, with the financial community awaiting word on whether the government was going to seek an IMF loan to avoid a balance of payments crisis.
