The British Council has sought applications for the Chevening Scholarship, with the last date for submission of forms being September 15, according to a statement issued by the British Council, Lahore.
The scholarship is funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and administered by the British Council.
Pakistani applicants can apply for the following subjects: economics, gender studies, human rights, international relations, law, management, media studies, public administration, social development, international security, inter-faith studies, international conflict, governance and democracy, citizenship, economic governance and reform, public sector reform and migration.
An applicant must have a master’s or a four-year bachelor’s degree from any recognised university within Pakistan or its equivalent from an overseas institution. He/she should be between 25 and 35 years of age and must have 3-years of work experience. Only Pakistani citizens are eligible for the scholarship.
