OPF to open school in UAE 2


ISLAMABAD: Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) would set up an OPF public school in Abu Dhabi, UAE, to provide quality education to the children of overseas Pakistanis.

Labour Manpower and Overseas Pakistanis Minister Syed Khurshed Ahmad Shah announced this while addressing the OPF Board of Governors meeting on Friday.

The minister said the concrete steps were being taken to improve education in the educational institutions to meet the challenges of the 21st century.

FBR Chairman Ahmed Waqar, OPF Managing Director Nayyer Hasnain Haider, former minister Syed Wajid Ali Bukhari, Masood M Khan from Denmark, Khalid Usman from Canada, Tariq Sharif Bhatti from Italy, Zafar Iqbal Chaudhry from Saudi Arabia and other members attended the meeting.
