Islamabad: PIA’s inaugural flight leaves for Bradford/Leeds

ISLAMABAD: The inaugural flight of Pakistan International Airline (PIA) carrying full capacity load left here Wednesday for Bradford/Leeds.

Managing Director PIA, Capt. Mohammad Aijaz Haroon sharing his views on the flight operation from Islamabad to Leads/Bradford said, “PIA’s flight operation on this sector meets the demand of our customers in Bradford and wider Yorkshire region as well as the airline’s customers in Pakistan.”

He said the flight operation will provide additional travel services to its customers in addition to the airlines growing international network.

As part of the marketing infrastructure being taken more destinations will be added to the airline network while increasing the frequency of its existing flight as per market demand, offering enhanced services to its customers, he added.

“This is PIA’s 34th International destination and fifth to the United Kingdom,” Director Marketing PIA Salahuddin told APP before departure of the flight.

He said the direct flight from Islamabad to Bradford/Leeds would leave every Wednesday and Saturday from the Federal Capital while it would return the same night.
