Pakistan players fixing ‘almost every cricket match’: Yasir Hameed

LONDON: Batsman Yasir Hameed has reportedly claimed that Salman Butt, Muhammad Aamer and Muhammad Asif have been fixing “almost every match”. The News of the World newspaper quoted Hameed as saying that the players were throwing matches. “They were doing it in almost every match,” Hameed was quoted as saying. “God knows what they were up to. Scotland Yard was after them for ages,” he said. “It makes me angry because I’m playing my best and they are trying to lose,” he said. Hameed, however, denied the claims, saying he had not given any interview to the paper. The News of the World said its today’s edition will claim that a fourth Pakistani player is being investigated by the International Cricket Council (ICC), but that he could not be named for legal reasons.   1. It is my humble sugession that we must have a meeting with the following participants to resolve the issues to our National Game Cricket;

    1. Players
    2. Parents
    3. Management
    4. Noble persons from Civil Society
    5. Retired Judges
    6. Journalists

    All the above stake holders must take up the issues related to the Cricket and resolve these for ever. I have a write up which can be distributed in the meeting.
