SIALKOT: The first Kuwait-bound Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight from Sialkot, left on Friday, with 102 passengers on-board. Addressing a ceremony held at the Sialkot International Airport (SIA), PIA Sales Senior Vice President Salahuddin disclosed that the national airline would operate weekly on Friday between Sialkot and Kuwait. He said the PIA was considering expanding its network to other international destinations in near future, with a focus on initiating Haj and Umrah flights from Sialkot.
