MULTAN: The aromatic and delicious mango of Pakistan charmed former Miss Italy 2004 enough to lure her to Multan one of among the oldest living cities on earth, to witness the launch of the three-day international mango festival held here Friday night.
Punjab Agriculture Minister Ahmad Ali Aulakh besides ambassadors of different countries jointly inaugurated the international mango festival, part of ‘Multan, The Oldest Living City’ programme of the government. The expo is meant to win global recognition for the sweet and tasty fruit this area produces.
Envoys of different countries including the Philippines, Brazilian ambassador in Pakistan Mr Gustov, Italian ambassador Vincizo Proti, ambassador of Afghanistan Mr Anwaar, South Korean ambassador Fu Kin and ambassador of Mexico Byrnadez graced the occasion at the traditionally decorated Shah Jahan Hall.
A musical and cultural show was held later in the night. Ms Joya, declared Miss Italy in 2004, also present, said she was delighted with the prospect of having as many mangoes as she wants. “A special friendship has begun between me, the mangoes and the people of Multan,” she said while addressing the ceremony.
Italian ambassador Vincizo Proti termed the tasty and aromatic mango as not only a sweet gift but also a ‘symbol of friendship’.

It a big lie that Ms.Joya had been Miss Italy in in year,not to talk about 2004.
In this connection I emailed a letter to the Ambassador of Italy In Pakistan, Mr.Vincenzo on his email address, Pratt.segreteria.ambislamabad@esteri.it
The Miss Italy 2004 was Cristina Chiabotto.
Multan Mango Festival was organized by ECS and Pakistan Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the City District Government.
But the head of Both the organizations Mr.Ettore Marzocchi (Italian national),introduced her real daughter Ms.Joya as Miss Italy 2004,so not only he made Pakistan Public fool but he also undermined the Prestige of real Miss Italy 2004.

Honorable H .E. Vincenzo Prati,
I want to draw your king attention to a big cheat that has gone not only to print media in Pakistan but also it was aired through various TV channels in Pakistan.
Respectable Sir, your have visited Multan along with other dignitaries to attend the Multan Mango Festival ,organized by Italian ECS company and Pakistan Italian chamber of commerce and Industry ,both headed by Mr.Ettore Marzocchi (Italian).
But is is regretted to point out that Mr.Ettore Marzocchi presented his daughter Joya as Miss Italy 2004 to the media and to the public of Multan,where as the fact is that Ms.Joya has never been Miss Italy in any year. So,your native Italian Mr.Marzocchi not only lied to the people of Pakistan but they have also undermined the prestige of Miss.Italy 2004, Ms.Cristina Chiabotto and the Italian public.
We ,the Pakistani are now forced to think why the Italian misrepresented themselves ?.Why they have made our public fool?.But it is sure this big lie tells the credibility of CES and Italian Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Please inquire into matter as it leaves a bad impression on our nation about the Italian public.
