ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) has cancelled the layout plan of a housing scheme for slow-paced development work and issued final notices to the owners of three other schemes for early start of uplift work to prevent cancellation of their layout plans.
A senior CDA official told Daily Times that the layout plan of Paradise Housing Scheme in the capital’s Zone II had been cancelled and Cabinet Division Cooperative Housing Scheme, RP Cooperative Housing Scheme and the Interior Ministry’s Housing Scheme had been put on notice.

He said owners of the three schemes had also been directed to demarcate land and update the CDA on the exact number of their allotees. The official said the CDA had recently captured the land of Jeddah Town on the directives of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for failing to fulfill certain legal formalities and begin development work for many years. He said the authority had prepared a plan to fence the scheme’s land measuring around 800 kanals.

He said the CDA had planned action against around 20 hosing schemes, where development work had yet to begin properly.

The official said No-Objection Certificates (NOCs) had been issued to 44 housing societies, 30 for Zone V and 14 for Zone II. He said 12 housing societies had already got NOCs to begin work in Zone II and Zone V.

He said under the CDA’s Islamabad Capital Territory Zoning Regulation, 1992, private housing schemes could be sponsored by a cooperative society registered under the Cooperative Societies Act, 1925. He said a private company listed with Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) in the capital’s Zone II and V.

The official said a housing society got approved its project’s layout plan and engineering design before securing NOC to begin development work. He said the CDA set a timeframe for every society to complete project. fazal sher

  1. Its verygood step of cda against illegel and faek socities which r making money from inocent people

    • CDA should have done something about these schemes when the culprits had just started their crooked practices. Infact, even now this decision has not come from CDA but actually NAB has directed CDA to do so. I bought a plot in one of these schemes in 1999. I made full payments and have land registry documents in my possession. Its been quite a few years now already. 2 years ago when I was visiting the plot, I found a boundary wall with some one else’s name plate on my land. I have filed complaints in CDA Rawalpindi office and have sent numerous emails to CDA, but no response from either one of these organisations so far. On NAB’s website, the only thing you’ll find is an old news paper cutting scanned distorted image public notice in urdu. Thats a disgrace.

  3. The CDA will probably take over these societies aswell and you will eventually get your land allocated.

These societies are run under then name of govt. people invest in these project that shows their confidence on their associated name, but then these govt snail speed workers will ruin your confidence and eventually market situation of these societies is still bumpy and people will suffer. i bet that even a single MINISTER would had a plot in these societies, the situation would have been a lot different.

My innocent bro & sisters Salam, the fresh info is that Makhdoom Gallani has handed over the charge of Jaddah Town phase-1 to Kabza Mafia ( land grabbers) and they people are constructing boundry walls and a small storeroom as a possession on your plots over night.I have lost my commercial plot recently, and my life is also in danger, but i have to fight back for my rights. plz contact me for info-03325581565– i might help you againt these bastards.Remember i am talking about Phase -1. Dont waste your time and contact me, I might help you.please join me.Remember again you should have a plot in phase-1, because phase-2 and phase -3 are the subject of NAB already.so much to tell u but call me 1st.

  7. Dear brothers, I had a detailed discussion with Makhdoom Gillani at his residence in Scheme-3 Rawalpindi on January 2013. He says that you people are carrying allotment & possession letters of 1994, but these documents were not singned by me and those who signed your papers took money from you and didt pay me a single panny. Look at the statement he is giving now, its a big lie.Plus those who have documents even signed my Mr basterd are just carrying documents but they dont have plots in their hand, Those who had a possession in the past in shape of boundry walls or a small room have been demolished by Gillani and his Ghundas.Now we talk about departmends, Police is silent,NAB is silent,Revenue department is silent. They all are working for Gillani because of corruption. So, you guys should immediately, file a civil case against Gillani in Islamabad Court and also also write down a suho moto application to the Chief justice of Pakistan to take a strict action against these Land grabbers and Makhdoom Gillani.One more thing, i have taken the decision of an Accountability court No-3 case No-18/2007, against Makhdoom Gillani and you would be surprised to know that this son of a gun grabbed 66 corore Rupees from innocent people in pakistan and also in abroad.he was arrested by NAB . He was punished only for 5 yrs fined only 12 Corore and remember he didt go in the jail even for a single day and punishment completed.Seven people were the master mind in this Gang. His wife Syeda Shagufte Gillani is is proclaimed wanted to NAB Tariq Gillani and Imran Gillani are also wanted to NAB so far. call my Number and get more info—-03325581565

  9. Salaam brothers and sisters, I am a owner of a plot in Jedda Town and currently reside in the UK. I have been unable to resolve anything regarding obtaining land or money back on this plot. Can someone please advise me on what the steps are or who i need to speak with to resolve this issue. If there any telephone numbers that someone can give me so that i can use these to contact the right people. I have seem a few numbers posted on various websites but these dont connect. Please supply numbers with full area codes etc so i can get connected from the UK. I would greatly appreciate all the help given. Thank you in advance.
