ISLAMABAD: The British government on Friday launched a new visa services website to facilitate the visa seekers. “The new website www.ukvisas.gov.uk is part of the UK’s ongoing commitment to improve services to its visa customers all over the world,” a statement by the British High Commission (BHC) said.
The British government wants to facilitate legitimate travellers to visit the UK, and is always looking at ways to make the visa process as straightforward and welcoming as possible, it said. The new website is the latest in a series of improvements that have been made to the UK’s visa service in recent months. The new visa application centers were opened in Pakistan last year, and applicants can now also apply online through www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk.
