ISLAMABAD: The British government on Friday launched a new visa services website to facilitate the visa seekers. “The new website www.ukvisas.gov.uk is part of the UK’s ongoing commitment to improve services to its visa customers all over the world,” a statement by the British High Commission (BHC) said.
The British government wants to facilitate legitimate travellers to visit the UK, and is always looking at ways to make the visa process as straightforward and welcoming as possible, it said. The new website is the latest in a series of improvements that have been made to the UK’s visa service in recent months. The new visa application centers were opened in Pakistan last year, and applicants can now also apply online through www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk.

Who is monitoring this Blog? all of trhe brothers who have forwarded this queries here I would suggest to them its of no use if you want to make your voice heard by someone go to home office website and email Public Enquiries and they would respond back. The VACPK site seems to be frozen I submitted my file way back in June 2009 and so far no word from VACPK their email addresses are not even monitored by no one I have sent multiple emails to them for over 2 months and received not a single line reply from them and in contrast the public enquiries mail box is being monitored by human bodies and I not only received a response from them but also fresh status on my file (which VACPK is still unaware of). Consider them as a team there to gather documents and nothing else they dont have visibility to nothing send an email to:

this is for Visa Corespondence section in the high commission, and they will reply you back I hope they replied me in a week’s time so it is probable that you will hear from them. Stop contacting Gerry’s they charge hefty amount for calls we make and I ended up paying hundreds of rupees in my phone bill over nothing where they cant even promise that they will forward thier query.
What they will ask you to do is some thing you can do your self that is go to thier website and check the status of your case anyone can do that I dont know why they have hired a team to do a job that is so clerkical and lame.

I had applied for UK student Visa. My visa was refused by British Embassy as they raised an objection that my B.A. degree is not genuine. Also they did not return my B.A. degree as well as Mark Sheet.
My degree was 100% genuine and was also attested by HEC of Pakistan. After that I got a Verification Letter issued by University of Punjab and sent my Administrative Review Request From along with that Verficiation Letter.
